Finding the LCM 3

So how do we do this without drawing pictures?

We have to find out what size of slice we need, the number on the bottom of the fractions.

This number is called the Lowest Common Multiple or LCM.
It just means the smallest value our numbers will multiply to make.

The easiest way to find it is to go up the table of one of the numbers
until you get to a value that the other number goes into as well.

Here are some examples:
